CBG Generation using Press mud & Meat Effluent

Information of the project

A state-of-the-art biogas plant located in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu operational since March 2021, this facility stands as a testament to our commitment to sustainable energy solutions and environmental stewardship.

Feedstock: The biogas plant utilizes a combination of press mud and meat effluent as feedstock, with a total quantity of 220 tons per day. This diverse feedstock mix ensures optimal biogas production while effectively managing organic waste materials.

CBG Generation: The plant generates approximately 10.6 tons of Compressed Biogas (CBG) per day, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the transition towards cleaner fuel alternatives.

Manure Production: As a byproduct of the anaerobic digestion process, the plant produces approximately 40 tons of nutrient-rich manure per day, which can be utilized as organic fertilizer, further enhancing agricultural sustainability.

Located in the heart of Tamil Nadu, our biogas plant in Cuddalore serves as a beacon of innovation and sustainability in the region. By converting organic waste into valuable resources such as biogas and fertilizer, we are not only reducing environmental impact but also creating economic opportunities and fostering community development.
